Home with God, Part 10
“There are no victims and no villains in the world.”
In the last couple of texts, we have talked about the idea that our Soul might have a “mission” or goal or plan and that when that mission is fulfilled, which it always will be, the Soul is ready to “force” the body to expire.
In short, the idea is that at some level, we choose when and how to die and that it is always after our work is complete.
A few people may be aware of their mission and even be happy and ready to die at the appropriate time. But, our experience is that the vast majority of people are not consciously aware of any specific mission or task that they need to accomplish. Neither are they aware that the task may have been completed and they can now pass away content in their understanding of this. And, why would you want to pass away, even if your mission was completed? There’s plenty more that could be accomplished.
The suggested reasoning for this is that we have three levels of Consciousness and we create everything in our lives at one level or another. The three levels are well known, as every one will have heard of their consciousness and their Subconscious (that drives the things that go on underneath the surface, the automatic processes that make our bodies work and allow us to react quickly to events without thinking). That’s two, and the third is also well known, at least by name if not by experience. We have the idea of a “higher” consciousness or Superconscious. We think that there is probably some part of us that is “nearer” to God or has a greater wisdom or is closely aligned with our Soul. This is where inspiration and spontaneous creative insight come from – you wake up in the night with a poem, a story or song in your mind, for example.
We think that we create at our conscious level. You know, we sit down and think of something then write it down or draw it or make it, all while we are wide awake. We conceive an idea in our mind then plan how to make it come to life.
What about our subconscious mind? Does that create anything? It certainly performs hundred or thousands of functions. It keeps our heart beating, our lungs breathing our cells dividing and every movement we make is accomplished by our subconscious mind. It would simply be unimaginable to consciously think the functions required to make your hand and all the associated muscles work together to raise a glass of water to drink. As a baby, you might have gone through a long process to master these bodily functions, but once mastered, they become automatic, like driving a car or riding a bike.
How about the Superconscious then? Is that creating anything? May be you don’t even believe that there is a superconscious. However, this is the faculty that has access to all knowledge. It is your link to God, or whatever you recognise as the Universal Source. It knows everything, but like God, has no agenda. It needs nothing and only responds when asked. If you never communicate with it, it won’t be upset, but you will be missing out on the one true source of all knowledge. Not only knowledge, but energy. It is through the superconscious that energy flows, through you, to earth. You only need to ask it, then it will Inspire, Encourage, Drive and Energize your creative mind. Through dreams, by bringing people or situations to you, by playing just the right music at the right time, by showing you a situation, these are the ways that your superconscious can put you where you say you want to be.
There is a fourth level that “Home with God” talks about and that is the Supraconscious or Christ Conscious. This is when all three cylinders are firing together. When all your conscious levels of being are working together in harmony, you can move mountains.
Where does this leave us, where is the creation taking place?
The suggestion is that creation can take place at all four levels. Creation is said to follow the sequence – Think, Speak, Do (Thought, Word, Deed). It might sound like you can only do these three things at the conscious level. They are all physical things that need you to be engaged and active in order to accomplish them. If this were true, you would have to be aware of everything that you created in your life. Do you think that you might have created something without being consciously aware of it? Is that possible?
This raises the question, what is creation? What can I create? It’s pretty obvious that I can “make” things – a chair, a pie, a piece of art, a song, a joke, someone cry – wait a moment, I can “make” someone cry? Can you make someone laugh or be happy? What about angry or sad or fearful? Would I always be fully aware that I did any of these things? Could they happen at “arms-length” without me even being present. If someone looks at a photograph of me and smiles, is that something that I am creating, and at what level?
Do I know where this discussion is going? I don’t. I don’t have the end in mind. I haven’t thought it all the way through, before I started writing it. I trust that somewhere inside me, or at a distance that I can reach, there is a thread of wisdom that I can pull on.
We can make someone else laugh or be happy. How would we do that? They have to agree to it. They join in. They take their role in the process. They are willing participants. You Choose to be Happy, or otherwise. In every moment, you decide whether or not any particular event is going to be experienced as a happy or sad situation. Irrespective of the outward circumstances, you can choose to always be happy. You can laugh at your own misfortunes.
If this is the case, then no one else can make you feel any particular way, against your will. So, you decide how you will feel in any situation. You pick your reactions and responses. What about the actual situations themselves? How do you find yourself in “good” or “bad” situations? Do you have a hand in creating these as well?
If a women keeps “choosing” to associate with the same negative and aggressive men, even though they treat her badly, then she is probably creating that kind of environment for herself. This can easily be recognised, if not overcome.
However, to take a more extreme case. What if you are killed by “friendly” fire while driving your tank through a war zone. Or you are sitting at home and a bomb drops on your house. Or you are driving down the highway and a truck coming the other way crosses the centre line and runs in to you. And the list goes on. You have to be able to trace a complex web of interconnecting branches to be able to see how these things might have been influenced by your own Self for your own Good. When you can see that We Are All One, this starts to be possible. But, I understand that most people are not going to look to themselves for a reason or cause under these kinds of circumstances.
Even more interesting and complex situations occur when something like a plane crashes and all but one person dies, or someone decides not to get on the fatal plane, or a person is delayed by the accident on the highway and misses the fatal plane. You can accept all these things as pure chance, it’s just “one of those things”, inexplicable, these people were just “lucky”. However, while I don’t necessarily think that everything happens for a “Purpose”, everything does happen for a “Reason”. Purpose implies that there is a plan, a reason only requires a “cause” and everything has a cause. Even New thoughts, which happen rarely, are only possible because of the millions of previous old thoughts that have been practiced in a particular order by a particular mind. New Life Evolution occurs when an Environment changes significantly. It never just happens for no reason.
If you can’t accept that you are at cause in all that comes to you, lets look at an example that will allow you to accept that if You Don’t Choose, Someone Else Will –
You need a job. You aren’t very creative and you don’t like taking responsibility, so you ask a friend that works in a factory, if they can get you an interview there. You are successful in the interview but the job is on the production line and you haven’t done that before. You spend the first week learning the tasks. This is quite complicated and you make many errors before managing the task adequately. You are still very slow and don’t produce the required level of output, but you expect that with practice you will.
This is a very typical situation. You have reduced any choice of work environment to the easiest option, the one that your friend has. You accept whatever the employer has to offer you, even though you know you don’t have the skills yet. You have to train your subconscious to be able to carry out the tasks without your conscious input (otherwise things go wrong, you slow down and don’t earn enough). You hate the job and after 3 weeks you have an accident with one of the machines. You sue the company.
Who caused your accident? Why were you unhappy? Did your Soul find you the job? Was it the job of your “dreams”? Was it your “destiny” or your “mission” to work there and eventually have the accident? The accident may well prove to move you forward to great things and when you look back you may say it all happened “as it was meant to”, but was there a “purpose” and a plan and did you follow it?
One way to expand your potential is to learn to lower your conscious mind to be able to communicate with your subconscious and become aware of the power available in automating what you want and not what you don't want. Another path is to raise your consciousness to connect with the superconscious that is the source of inspiration, where miracles arise. A better strategy is to expand your consciousness to touch both upper and lower levels of consciousness at the same time, creating a "oneness" within, which then helps you see the Oneness outside.
To summarize with a quote from the book – p58:
“Therefore, think only what you choose to experience, say only what you choose to make real, and use your mind to consciously instruct your body to do only what you choose to demonstrate as your highest reality. This is how you create at the conscious level.”
Happy Thinking
John.

I read only the first two lines of this statement. Your letter sounds like a suicide note. Everyone has feelings when they have finished a project or idea that sound like, "Now that I have finished my mission, I can retire." Whether you publish this publically or not...I will tell you that your statement sounded like YOU are that person who thinks his mission is completed and you are ready to retire your physical body and go to the universe of spirit. Remember this: we have MANY missions. AND: we need to rest between our battles. After rest, we will find life and excitement in the next mission. Life is not limited to a single mission, but multi-faceted tasks in what we seek. Hope this helps YOU>

Hello Dr Darcy,
let me start by apologising for not getting to your reply earlier, I haven't checked the blog for a couple of weeks.
I do appreciate every comment that people take the time to write.
I did however find it interesting that a "Doctor" would admit to not having read the patients report before passing judgement on his mental situation.
I hope you will take the time to review my notes and reconsider your diagnosis.
My point was exactly that most people would consider that they could always find more good works to do in a dysfunctional world and would therefore not wish to end their lives prematurely.
Happy Easter

John,
Thanks for your thoughtful entry. You may find the material in Happier than God very useful. Part Three of the Process of Personal Creation speaks directly to manifestation. This material does not speak directly to your questions on how the mental layers of the self work. It does explain the process of creation.
This is the section that spoke to me beginning on p 160. Every thing is connected to everything. All of everything really is an enormous larger than fathomable matrix. The matrix is vibrating at differing frequencies in different locations. These differences could be called local disturbances. You are a local disturbance. So are your thoughts, your words, your actions. All are vibrations. The act of "creation" is simply the act of tuning into the vibration of that which already exists in the All of Everything, which attunement draws it to you. You are not really "creating" anything, but merely noticing that it has already been created, and magnetizing it - or attracting it.
This brings to mind the saying "The gift has already been given". From what I am reading The All of Everything is in motion, all possibilities are in place Now. It is up to us through the use of our thoughts and feelings to adjust our energy "vibration" to attract that which we wish to experience.
Even if we are not "aware" of our thoughts they are creating our experience. The more awareness we have and the more we are in tune with the desires of our heart the greater potential we have for "creating" that which we knowingly choose.
We are continuously making real in our experience that which already exists in the ALL of Everything. We draw these experiences to us according to our "state" of mind and feeling.
My belief is that the power is in being honest with yourself about what you desire to experience. Through thought and feeling you change your vibration to resonate with what you desire to experience. The experience is attracted into your "Now".
I think we take the world too seriously. We allow the information we retrieve with our senses to shape our world. We have the power to shape our world from an unlimited source within. The more we use that energy and learn to trust it the faster we can create our life experience in the image that we desire.
Enjoy Happier than God --

Hi Bobbi
Thanks for taking the time and effort to reply and pointing us towards "Happier than God". It is yet another excellent book in the NDW series. I did read it last year when Neale was doing his pre-publication introductions to the book.
I totally agree that everything is connected (and everything is alive) - We Are All One - so, I made the T-Shirt:
http://ActionForAttraction.com/
We are the Space that allows universal consciousness through into the physical realm.
The more Space we can create around our noisy ego mind, the sooner the world will begin to experience the awakening we are looking for.
I trust you are all following the Oprah show discussion on the Eckhart Tolle book - A New Earth

Back to Home with God - this is a fabulous book and a pleasure to read and absorb. It doesn't mean that is doesn't raise questions. When we have all the answers, we have nothing.
I agree with your comments and observations Bobbi
Thanks you for them

Good evening, John: I have experimented consciously with manifesting things and was able to do so. No doubt in my mind therre. For some reason, so..i have not been able so far to create an easier and pleasant life. It has been arduous, hard work w very little result! I now wonder whether there are deep seated unconscious undercurrents of belief in poverty etc. my wondering is how to "tackle" those and change it. I have spent plenty of time on my knees, praying for help. Good place to be, but so far no visible changes of great consequence. Some help has come in, but very little. Would you comment on that? I am asking for self but also because i work at helping others. thank you for your commentary. Baghya Shri.

Hello Baghya,
Thanks for your comment. It's always nice to hear what people are thinking about and how these issues are turning up in their lives.
If you haven't already looked at it, you might want to read "Happier than God", which is Neale Walsch's latest book and is about the Law of Attraction and its related energies.
There are 2 big things that tend to stand in the way of perceived and real progress:
1. Past conditioning. As I have discussed in Part 13 and other places, it doesn't really matter what we say, it only matter what we are. What we are, determines how we vibrate (the mix of frequencies that make us up and that other people and things can feel). We typically had a lot of years creating our current vibration and there are many thoughts and ideas that are so deeply ingrained in our being that it can take a long time to even recognise them let alone change them. The thing to do is to study yourself, ask for your inner condition to be revealled to you. Don't try to fight against it or change it. Just Look at it and Recognise it for what it is. Allow it to fade away.
2. The Law of Opposites. When we ask for something specific, what often happens is the opposite appears. This can happen very quickly and we think it is a dissaster. Something must have gone wrong. "God" is punishing me for even asking. God never punishes us, we do that ourselves. The opposite turns up so that we can experience that which we asked for. For example, we ask for an improved work environment and the next day we are told that we are to fired from our job. Our reaction to this event will determine what happens next. If we believe that the process is working and that the current event is OK and will ultimately lead to a "Better" situation, it will. If we react to the situation and get angry, the situation won't go away or get better, we will get more events to be angry about, because ANGER is our new vibration.
Stay Awake to what is happening and give things time to work their magic. They always do.
cheers
John

Thank you John,
Just when I am starting to doubt, when once again I think to myself that I don't understand the world, that there is no reason for events, I turn to CWG and then in some 'coincidental' way end up here, on this site and what happens..!?! I find that 'coincidental' article that focuses so aptly on my current predicament and I realise again that my doubts are unfounded, that there are no coincidences and that there is help when I need it. Thank you for your thoughts and your efforts in making my life and I imagine so many others more managable and happier. This is the work of life and I will try to carry the energy with me that you have inspired to reach further.
Thank you again, Hannah.

Hello Hannah,
I'm pleased that one or more of my messages were in the right place at the right time. Once we see and recognise synchronistic events, more of them occur. Acknowledge them and give thanks.
One problem with coincedences though, the commercial world is configured to deliver them to you to make you spend and buy products that you don't need. It is easy to see the right product to buy, just when you were thinking of them - the thoughts were planted in your mind by clever adverts (not just yours - everyones). So, we have to be descerning about what turns up and make sure it matches Who We Think We Are.
Enjoy.
